Tecad 32 taught the basics of CAD - Computer Aided Drafting - and also the basics of technical drawing in general, whether computer assisted or straight "pencil and paper" (manual) drafting.
Drafting, like many technical fields, uses words that are not common in other fields. Sometimes, it also uses some more common words, but in a different sense, or with a different meaning. Whenever one of these words is used in a Tecad 32 lesson, it is included in the vocabulary section of that lesson with a clear definition.
